This image--and its companion piece Good Days, which is also for sale in this show--was part of a studio show presented by my ink instructor at The Art Students League in NYC. She invited several of us to show our work during an open studio tour in Brooklyn, NY in 2022.
I’ve teamed the moody abstract roses with a one-inch black wood frame (as opposed to my typical choice of a white frame). It not only complements the darker image but also adds a museum quality feel to the work.
