The bell flower is such an interesting flower with it's bell-shape and fluted edges. In thinking about the composition of this piece, I decided to pair some bells with alstroemeria. The bells capture the eye first and their placement allows the eye to travel up and around to the alstroemeria and down into the vase. Bells was featured in the Botanicals Art Exhibition in 2020 in the LightSpaceTime online gallery.

Like most of my art, Bells With Alstroemeria began as a pencil drawing and progressed to colored pencil with accents of watercolor pens. It was then digitized to get the effects I wanted.
