Catskill Autumn From Wagon Wheel Gap

Wagon Wheel Gap is a cut across the eastern base of Ashokan High Point, created thousands of years ago by rushing glacial meltwater out of the Catskills. For years, the Gap was on private land, and has recently become public land. This view looks across the Gap, northwest to the western end of the Ashokan Reservoir and the Burroughs Range peaks. This is one of the first publicly displayed landscape images from this location.
