Sun Rays

My abstract, mixed media paintings begin with value studies in paint, adding multiple shapes and lines drawn with a soft pencil. More layers are created using papers, fabric, numbers or letters as well as painted images from stencils. This is finished by more acrylic paint and colored pencils. I’m not thinking about a topic, just letting my work flow with the multiple layers. The skill is to know when to stop!
