Floral shapes are an ongoing theme in my work. Whether in oil, acrylic, collage or ink--used here on yupo paper--my inclination is to paint or draw multiples. But for this sweet piece, I decided to embrace the focus of the solitary flower. I love the various lines, curvy and meandering, and overall simplicity of this work. This soothing, matted piece (ready for you to frame) is a lovely addition to a guest room or bare hallway.
