Hollow glass beads in deep sea colors are set off by recycled glass and a gold-filled chain. Truly an eye-catching piece. The glass is a color-shifting, silver-infused type that results in muted blues and greens that make me think of the North Atlantic. Each large bead is hand blown on a "puffy" mandrel and annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln. Then they are strung together in graduated order with African beads made from recycled glass bottles and 14 k gold-filled spacers. The necklace is finished with a 14 k gold-filled cable chain and lobster-claw clasp that allows for it to be worn at multiple lengths. Since each bead is handcrafted, we expect variations.
