Dogwood in Crystal Pitcher

Glass is particularly difficult to draw and paint. Speaking about this, a friend of mine at one of my shows asked me, "How do you paint nothing?" The answer is that you can't paint nothing, but you can paint what you see through the glass and any highlights, markings or reflections on the glass and the viewer's eye will fill in the rest.
