This is a lightweight hanging sculpture in which the physical form of the shale works with the visual forms from forest observations. Paw prints of native animals suggest the ways in which our paths and destinies are intermingled. These relief sculptures came into being as a way to work with forms from nature and emerge from the straight edges of the canvas. This piece is designed to be light and easy to hang, and are well suited to smaller spaces individually or larger spaces as a group.
