Inspired by Japanese stacking spice jars, this one-of-a-kind, 4-piece stacked jar is made from a mid-fire stoneware (ceramic).
Glazed with dynamic olive and amber celadon glazes on the outside with a cheerful opalescent blue on the inside, it reminds us that clay comes from the earth and turns to stone in the firing process. This piece was reduction fired to cone 10 providing the richness of color in the glazes. It measures 5 1/2” tall by 3 1/2" in diameter at the base.
