Glacial Ice Cave in Juneau, Alaska

Exploring this ice cave in Juneau, Alaska was a magical experience. It really was this blue, no enhancements have been made. Everything was quiet except for the sound of running water from a little stream running through the cave and small droplets of water dripped down. Sadly this cave and others like it have since melted away as the Mendelson glacier retreats. Lucy has an oversized print of this hanging in her living room to remind her of the magic of nature.
