This image--and its companion piece Bad Days, also for sale in this show--was part of a studio show presented by my ink instructor when she invited several of us to show our work during an open studio tour in Brooklyn, NY in 2022.
I’ve matted this pale Baja blue and sunny yellow image and paired it with a one-inch black frame (as opposed to my typical choice of a white) as I feel the contrast value grabs the viewer’s attention.
