The flowers of the hydrangea come in different colors depending on the acidity level of the soil. By digitizing I was able to get a blue flower with hints of other colors to make it more interesting.

Details

Hydrangeas began as a complete pencil drawing and progressed to a colored pencil piece and then to digital which allowed me to get the interesting look of the color of the petals. Making the pitcher white allowed the flowers in the piece to bloom.
