Irregular Maple Burl Bowl

Irregular Maple Burl Bowl. This interesting bowl was made with exotic looking Maple burl. The bowl was turned while the wood was still wet and allowed to dry. As it dried, it changed shape slightly, making it somewhat out of round. It makes an interesting shape that is very slightly out of round. Finished with multiple coats of high gloss polyurethane.

This bowl can be used for moderate food use. Hand wash after use, not dishwasher safe. 12" wide x 2-3/4" high.
