Ash is a dense, light-colored wood with honey-colored grain. On this piece, beautiful reddish-brown bark remains intact on both live edges. The shamash candle holder is made of cherry, and a matching cherry strip runs down the center of the plank. An embedded knot near the shamash enhances the rustic look of this piece. (Yet the feel is ultra-smooth, inviting touch and touch again.) The candle cups and splash rings are made of solid brass and are easily removed for cleaning. This menorah has several coats of hand-rubbed lacquer that make it easy to remove any wax that might land on the surface during use. Simply use the edge of an old credit card or another similarly smooth-edged object to easily dislodge the wax.

Do not leave burning candles unattended. Note: Candles are not included.
