This Mission/Arts and Crafts-style mirror has an oak frame with pins (the circular inlays on the cross-pieces) and a hammered copper panel. I constructed this piece with lap joints, removing the top half of one mating member and the bottom half of its mate and then joining the pair together. Much Mission-style furniture is constructed this way. The finish on this piece is hand-rubbed lacquer.
