This is a hanging sculpture in which the physical form of the shale works with the natural forms of of items found in the local forest. This work has the written words "mud settles." These relief sculptures came into being as a way to work with forms from nature and emerge from the straight edges of the canvas. This piece is designed to be light and easy to hang, and are well suited to smaller spaces individually or larger spaces as a group.
