Salt Fired Bird House 19

This salt-fired bird house was hand-thrown on a potters wheel as a single piece — a closed form — and then trimmed and carved to make a door and to add a wood perch for your little backyard friend. Glazed on the top half, the bottom half was left largely bare except for some underglaze decoration and shows the beauty of the clay in the salt firing process. Measures approx. 5 1/2” tall by 5” in diameter.
