This pillow sham coordinates with the small quilt Seeds of Change. The square format shown contains a 20” x 20” pillow form (not included) It is an original pattern of concentric squares. The center appliquéd lavender diamond contains a free motion quilted flower in a purple thread with a pale green center. The concentric squares are quilted with rows and checks as you can see from the interior muslin backing inside the pillow. The back envelope closure has a lavender binding
Each of the quits for this exhibit is inspired by current affairs and the stress the artist sees in the world. Prior to this show all York’s quilts have been made for friends and family members as a way to show her love with each stitch. In hopes of stitching the world together and because quilts are a unique form of warmth and comfort. York hopes you will enjoy the love and passion that has gone into creating this one of a kind piece and that it may bring you comfort.
