Soft Sunset at Bear Hill Preserve

The cliff at Bear Hill Nature Preserve in Cragsmoor is the southernmost cliff in the Northern Shawangunks, with a view south toward High Point in NJ and southwest into Sullivan County. This June sunset, looking up the Sandburgh Valley into Sullivan County, was photographed with a soft look to compliment the fog settling into the valley below. The June sun is strong, penetrating the fog, to light up the foliage and the rock floor of the clifftop.
