Hollow forms, like this seashell, are absolutely the most fun to make. First you get to play with inside versus outside colors as you melt and wrap the glass around the end of your blow pipe. Then you get it evenly hot and blow a bubble into the molten glass. Heat one side of it to pop a hole, then attach a punty to pull out your shape. The final step, and one of the most difficult, is to shape the loop. Very satisfying! This one has a warm coral interior and a yellow-gold exterior spotted with the same color-shifting glass used in the Chroma series. It is a rather plump, round shape.
