I enjoy making what I call table sleds, which I've so named because their side supports are contoured to evoke sled runners. Each table sled is one of a kind and has a heat- and food-safe finish.
Use this sycamore and mahogany table sled with green dyed splines and plugs for serving items hot from the stove or for presenting cheeses, sushi, or other foods. Create a lovely holiday centerpiece atop this sled. Or simply use it to grace any tabletop.
Please note: Although its hand-rubbed Danish oil finish offers good water resistance, this piece is not designed to be submerged in water. If necessary, clean with a damp soapy cloth or sponge and then wipe dry.
