The New World Trade Center

I painted this view 1 World Trade Center while it was under construction in 2011. I set my easel up in Brooklyn Bridge Park, an ecologically friendly, 1.3 mile expanse along the Brooklyn waterfront. I loved the contrast between the wild, grassy foreground and the modern building nearing completion.
