These two coordinating pillow shams/covers would look great on a couch, chair or bed. The Field of Diamonds pattern uses a combination two inch squares to create a block using 18 different fabrics. Each of these blocks has freehand stitching in the form of a flower over it. The cream sashes and borders have more traditional straight line quilting patterns. The front of the pillow sham has a muslin backing and a coordinating cream envelope closure. The shams are bound in the same turquoise floral print as the small quilt, “Through the Garden Gate” is backed and bound in a turquoise floral print with extra batting in the binding to make it feel extra cozy and add dimension. Please see the coordinating quilt “Through the Garden Gate” under separate listing. The pillow covers have an envelope closing and are shown with a 20x20” pillow insert. The insert is not included in this sale.

Each of the quits for this exhibit is inspired by current affairs and the stress the artist sees in the world. Prior to this show all York’s quilts have been made for friends and family members as a way to show her love with each stitch. Wishing to stitch the world together and because quilts are a unique functional art form that provides of warmth and comfort, York hopes you will enjoy the love and passion that has gone into creating this one of a kind piece and that it may bring you comfort.

• Prewashed premium cotton fabric to limit potential shrinkage or bleeding of color
• Organic cotton batting
• Cotton and polyester threads for quilting effects
• Colors: turquoise, pinks, cream, tan, greens
