Two In Flight

"Two In Flight" evolved not from a planned idea of an interaction between two women, but instead from a frenzy of random strokes of paint thrown on the paper. I'd been working on other abstracts, avoiding all recognizable form, when the two female figures in this piece began, almost on their own, to take shape...and flight.
