I used a photo that I had taken as a reference for this. I love the beautiful scenery at the Ashokan Reservoir, in particular in the winter.


The partially frozen water, the winter sky enhancing the bare branches of the trees. I hope I have captured this special place.

• 9" x 12"
• Acrylic painting on paper, mounted on a 7/8” deep, wood cradle board.
• This method of displaying the art work does not need a frame. The edges have either been left as natural wood (plus varnish) or hand painted. The artwork is protected by coats of varnish, therefore eliminating protective glass.
