Collection: Lissa Matthews

Lissa Queeney studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she earned the prestigious Jewelry Design Award from Van Cleef & Arpels.  After spending a summer in Europe, she returned to New York to work as a designer at the Van Cleef & Arpels atelier on Fifth Avenue. She later took on the role of bench jeweler at Georges Peyrot, Inc., crafting pieces for Van Cleef & Arpels.

Lissa went on to co-own Spirit of Two, a retail and wholesale jewelry company that sold their work to galleries and stores across the United States. Originally based in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, the business eventually relocated to the Rondout section of Kingston, where they operated a gallery and studio.

Over the years, Lissa has collaborated with several notable designers, creating one-of-a-kind pieces and models for production. Today, she maintains her own studio, where she designs and crafts jewelry and houseware items. Her work incorporates gold, silver, and both precious and semi-precious gemstones, and includes bridal jewelry, custom commissions, and unique, one-of-a-kind creations.
