The Old Print Shop

The Old Print Shop is a family owned print dealer and gallery in Manhattan founded in 1898. When I had a solo linocut exhibition there in 2015 I made this print to honor and express my affection for this renowned fine print establishment. Here, I depict my show’s window display, a customer who has just visited the shop walking away with a packaged print, and myself with a large portfolio having just delivered my latest linocut to the gallery. The print now has an added purpose of preserving the memory of this Lexington Ave. location, as they moved to W. 24th St. in 2022.
