Village Lights

Village Lights started as a sketch from a friend's window at 10th St. and 6th Ave. in Greenwich Village. Most of the elements were actually there to observe, but liberties were taken with perspective to capture the essence of the rooftop vantage point.

As always, I couldn't resist my favorite things ~ skylights, chimneys and water towers ~ the essentials that make a person want to go "Up on the roof"!
